NEWS, OR IS IT?

Over the past eleven months we have had figures and statistics thrown at us on a daily basis – many of them very depressing indeed and many of them incomprehensible or misleading. The headlines following my last market update report have been typically confusing. Shortly after its publication [if you missed it click here]: (What happened last year?), the Office of National Statistics released an article reporting that house prices had risen by 7.6% over the year to November 2020.
