Covid-19 information

In line with the Government's most recent recommendations, we have updated our guidelines in order to keep our customers, staff and wider community safe.

Our Sales and Lettings offices are open for business and we are carrying out Valuation and Viewing appointments.

Whatever your circumstance maybe, if you would like advice regarding moving during these very difficult times, we would be delighted to speak with you.

Viewing Appointment – Applicant

All first viewing appointments will be done virtually. Physical viewings will be limited, only a maximum of two members of the same household can attend, unless agreed otherwise. When physically viewing properties, all parties must wear a face covering, avoid touching surfaces and sanitise hands when you arrive and leave. We would ask that you bring with you your own hand sanitiser. We will seek confirmation that you do not fall into a vulnerable category of persons, you are not shielded and have not had any symptoms of, or been associated with any persons showing symptoms of covid 19 within the last 14 days. If this changes from when the viewing is booked, you are requested to notify us as soon as possible. The 2m social distancing rule will need to be adhered to at all times.

Initial viewings will be done virtually. Physical viewings will be limited, only a maximum of two members of the same household can attend, unless agreed otherwise. When physically viewing properties, viewing parties will be requested to avoid touching surfaces and sanitise their hands when they arrive and leave. We will seek confirmation you do not fall into a vulnerable category of persons, you are not shielded and have not had any symptoms of, or been associated with any persons showing symptoms of covid 19 within the last 14 days. If this changes from when the viewing is booked, you are requested to notify us as soon as possible. You are required to wear a face covering, open all internal doors, provide sufficient ventilation, and ensure surfaces, such as door handles, are cleaned after each viewing with standard household cleaning products. The 2m social distancing rule will need to be adhered to on all occasions.

Viewing Appointment – Conducted by the Estate Agent

When physically viewing properties, the agent will be required to wear a face covering, avoid touching surfaces and sanitise their hands when they arrive and leave. We will seek confirmation you do not fall into a vulnerable category of persons, you are not shielded and have not had any symptoms of, or been associated with any persons showing symptoms of covid 19 within the last 14 days. If this changes from when the viewing is booked, you are requested to notify us as soon as possible. If a Charter Whyman representative is conducting the viewing you are requested to vacate the home, open all internal doors, provide sufficient ventilation and ensure surfaces, such as door handles, are cleaned after each viewing with standard household cleaning products. The 2m social distancing rule will need to be adhered to on all occasions.

Valuation Appointment - Conducted by the Estate Agent

If this changes from when the valuation is booked, you are requested to notify us as soon as possible.
